Ode to Clive

Goodbye to a BFJA stalwart

It was with heavy hearts last December that the British Fruit Juice Association Committee learned of Clive Webster’s intention to retire from his BFJA duties.

Clive has been involved with the association for the past 34 years, when he was employed by Wilson and Mansfield.

He was elected as chairman of the BFJA in 1982, having served on the executive committee for just one year. Clive was the youngest chairman ever to be appointed to the BFJA. Clive remained chairman for a decade and then remained on the committee. Having started his own business in 1988, Clive Webster Ltd, it had proved to be a great success!

Clive remained a committed BFJA member until 2005 where he decided to step back up to a leadership role and act as the executive secretary and treasurer of the BFJA.

Clive has served the association with aplomb and will be much missed.

Thank you Clive!
